South Nation Conservation says it has downgraded its Flood Watch to a Flood Outlook Statement.
Officials say that ground conditions are currently frozen but will be in a state of elevated saturation when thawed.
Most of the snowpack has also melted away, although some remains in shaded and forested areas.
They say that most river and tributary systems are open and clear of ice with water levels and flows continuing to decline from the peaks observed in early March.
You’re advised to be extremely cautious when near rivers and waterbodies because of increasing river flows and slippery conditions.
Any ice-covered bodies of water are considered unsafe and parents are encouraged to explain these dangers to their children.
