A tool for local immigrants is getting a makeover.
The City of Brockville and St. Lawrence-Rideau Immigration Partnership has gotten provincial funding to update and expand the Leeds and Grenville Immigration Portal. According to the Immigration Partnership their primary objective is introducing new features to the website, as well as content that helps ease integration for immigrants.
The money is coming from the province’s Municipal Immigration Information Online program and MDB Insight has been hired to do the work. According to the partnership MDB is expected to work with all 13 municipalities across Leeds-Grenville. The current immigration portal can be found here.
