Here’s what’s happening in Kemptville:
The North Grenville Public Library in Kemptville is opening a Musical Instrument Lending Library.
It’s scheduled to open in August and musical instruments will be on loan to community members.
Organizers say they hope to expand the instrument collection over time so the community can have free access to an extensive range of musical resources.

The Cardinal Boat Launch on Legion Way is scheduled to open on May 15.
All users of the boat launch need to register annually by filling out an online form that can be found on the Township of Edwardsburgh Cardinal website.
Non-residents will be charged an annual fee of $25.

A free Family Fun Day is taking place in Smiths Falls on Saturday.
It’s scheduled to be held at Montague Public School from 9 a.m. to noon.
Organizers say activities will include a petting zoo, live music, and games.

Wellington House in Prescott is putting together a Spring yard sale and barbecue for June 1.
Funds raised will go towards a palliative quilt and donations are being accepted.
You can drop them off at Wellington House after May 15.
