Kemptville Live Music Festival receives $50,000 from Municipality of North Grenville

The Kemptville Live Music Festival is getting a funding boost to the tune of $50,000 from the Municipality of North Grenville.
Municipal officials say the funding was included in the 2024 budget and underscores their dedication to fostering cultural enrichment, strengthening community ties, and driving economic growth.
This year’s festival runs from July 18 to the 21 with headliners including Sam Roberts Band, Burton Cummings, Dean Brody, and Glass Tiger.
Festival Event Director Karen Bedard says the funds will be used to help offset some of the rising costs involved.
“For us, of course, we’re just like everybody else and the costs have certainly risen for everything from artists to sub-contractors or anything that we need.”
