The Workshop Dance Studio has earned the right to display the Heart Wise logo for the Nightclub Aerobics Program offered at the studio on Wednesday evenings. The Ottawa Heart Institute, Heart Wise Exercise program works with fitness providers in your community like The Workshop Dance Studio to develop and identify programs and classes that are appropriate for people who want to stay healthy or who may be living with a chronic health condition.
The Heart Wise Exercise logo indicates programs, classes or providers that allow participants to exercise at a safe level, while offering options to modify intensity. These programs accept participants with various chronic health conditions, including heart disease, provided they have a doctor’s approval. The studios have a documented emergency plan that is known to all exercise leaders, who hold current cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification. There is also a defibrillator on site. Heart Wise Exercise programs are available across most of Southern and Eastern Ontario – and now at The Workshop Dance Studio here in North Grenville.
The Workshop Dance Studio is the only active living studio in North Grenville with an exclusive focus on teaching adults to dance and keep fit.
