Local author and art therapist Anne Walsh has a new children’s book. Poobum and Pompom was written to help you prepare your first child for the next one. Walsh says she thought she had prepared her first daughter for her second. She was wrong. This book came out of her family’s experience with their growing family.
Anne Walsh will be reading Poobum and Pompom at a book launch at the North Grenville Library, next Saturday June 18th starting at 10:30 in the morning. Bring the kids for juice and cake – there will be coffee for the adults, and the author has a very special activity planned, which will help to ensure you keep the lines of communication open and get the best out of your one-on-one time with your children in the future.
