Teenaged girl responsible for vehicle thefts in Chesterville

A seventeen-year-old girl from North Dundas is facing charges after breaching her release conditions from a previous incident. Around 7:40 in the morning on March 9th, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry OPP received a report and launched an investigation. They found the young woman had broken several conditions, and she had stolen items from several vehicles in the village of Chesterville.

On March 11th, the girl was found and arrested. Police also seized a quantity of speed. The accused is facing nine counts of failure to comply with a probation order, five counts of theft from a vehicle, and possession of a controlled substance. She was held in custody pending a bail appearance.
