North Grenville launches Tourism Community Plan

North Grenville’s Tourism Community Plan is officially in place.

A media release says the plan offers financial incentives to drive progress toward key goals, including preserving small-town charm while supporting further community development.

Some of the programs that can be applied to for financial help include the Tourism Design and Feasibility Grant, the Accessibility Improvement Grant and the Tourism Property Improvement Grant.

North Grenville Mayor Nancy Peckford says “North Grenville is an incredible place to live and visit, and we have so much to offer! From our beautiful natural landscapes and agricultural heritage to our bustling downtown, historic hamlets, local businesses, trails, and cultural attractions, there really is something for everyone.”

She adds that “council has worked hard to create the conditions for new opportunities for our tourism sector to grow and thrive, and this program is another important step forward. We want more people to discover North Grenville, to stay a little longer, and to keep coming back!”

Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until funds are exhausted.
