Things are back to normal at Kemptville District Hospital after high humidity set off the hospital’s fire system.
KDH officials say that prompted a code red situation around 12:36 p.m. Tuesday.
They say the North Grenville Fire Service was onsite within minutes, and checked the building thoroughly before the all-clear was given around 1 p.m.
Hospital officials are thanking volunteer firefighters and their staff who they say did a wonderful job keeping people safe.
They add they will continue to monitor the situation and the hospital is fully operational with no impact to patient care.
