Ontario sending over $552,000 to KDH for upgrades and repairs

Ontario is putting more than $552,000 into upgrades and repairs at Kemptville District Hospital.

Leeds-Grenville-Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes MPP Steve Clark says the funding is intended to create safer, more comfortable spaces for people and their families to connect to care and services in their home communities.

The funding was provided through the Health Infrastructure Renewal Fund.

Clark says they enable healthcare system partners to address their urgent infrastructure needs, including upgrading or replacing roofs, windows, security systems, fire alarms, and emergency generators.

Since 2024, the Ontario government has increased funding through the fund by 10 per cent each year.
