Local projects that bring people together, spark creativity, and celebrate the community’s rich cultural identity.
That’s what the Municipality of North Grenville says each of the three recipients of the 2026 Arts and Culture Development Fund demonstrate.
Now in its fourth year, officials say the fund continues to support individual artists, collectives, and organizations whose work contributes to a vibrant and connected community while encouraging local talent and creative collaboration.
This year’s recipients of $2,000:
Julie Mercer on behalf of the North Grenville Arts Guild for ‘Create & Connect Community Art Workshops in North Grenville’, a project focused on creating opportunities for artistic expression, learning, and community connection through local art workshops.
Jennifer Gow on behalf of Compassionate North Grenville to host ‘The Gathering Space: The Compassionate Sessions’, fostering connection and meaningful community dialogue through arts and culture programming.
Tim Wasylko on behalf of Kemptville Legion Branch 212 for ‘Kemptville Legion Pipe & Drum’, supporting local musical traditions and cultural engagement through pipe and drum programming.
Municipal officials say they are extending their congratulations to this year’s recipients and add they are looking forward to seeing these projects come to life throughout the community.
