A new development in Kemptville will expand access to affordable, community-owned housing for moderate-income households.
New Commons Development, the developer behind the homes, says the Reuben Crescent Housing Co-operative will provide a mix of studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom homes for moderate-income households.
A groundbreaking ceremony to announce the construction of the community is taking place at 11 a.m. Friday.
Officials including Leeds–Grenville–Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes MPP Steve Clark and North Grenville Mayor Nancy Peckford will be on hand for the event.
