If you’ve ever thought about entering municipal politics there’s an opportunity to learn more.
The Association of Municipalities of Ontario is running a new free online workshop series for leaders seeking re-election or first-time aspiring candidates.
They say the workshops are designed to equip you with the tools, resilience, and confidence to meet challenges head-on, and to rediscover the purpose that brought you to public service in the first place.
There are two separate workshops, one for elected officials at the municipal level across Ontario who are considering re-election in 2026 and the other for community members considering a run for municipal office.
The municipal election will be held on October 26, 2026.
You can go to AMO’s website to learn more and to register.
