You’re running out of time to nominate your favourite immigrant-owned businesses in our region for an award.
The St. Lawrence-Rideau Immigration Partnership, an organization supporting people in the area born outside of Canada, is still collecting nominations for its annual “Leeds-Grenville Immigrant Entrepreneur Award.”
It’s presented every year to celebrate the hard work and dedication of a local immigrant business owner.
Past winners include the Brodowski family in Gananoque and Marc Gomez-Segu in Prescott.

Nominations for this year’s award are open until September 9th, with the winner set to be announced in October.
