The Leeds, Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit and the Municipality of North Grenville are working together to improve drop off access for well water samples.
As of yesterday, the local drop off location for the well water testing bottles has been changed to the North Grenville Municipal Office in Kemptville. A fridge is located on the second floor near the elevator at 285 County Road 44. The health unit says it is important to do regular testing of any well water that is used for drinking.
The health unit says water bottle samples should be placed in the fridge for pick up and the results will be returned to the property owner by mail. Additional sampling bottles can be picked up at this location as well.
Samples are accepted Monday through Thursday from 8:30 in the morning to 5:00 in the evening.
