A local community event is getting a boost from coffee. Brewed Awakenings is offering any size coffee or tea for $2, with every cent going to Kemptville Pride. The promotion runs all day tomorrow.
Owner Kika Smith says its important to support local initiatives. She says she grew up in Kemptville and that’s just how things are done. Smith noted community spirit is an integral part of North Grenville.
Kemptville Pride is set for Saturday, starting with the flag raising at 11:00am at the North Grenville Municipal Centre. The Pride Parade is happening downtown at 1:00pm, followed by the community fair at Riverside Park.
