A total of 22 people benefited from Heat for the Holidays. The initiative provides a month’s supply of Eco-Energy Logs to food bank clients. Heat for the Holidays is run by the House of Lazarus (HOL), in partnership with Community Food Share and Winchester BMR.
The logs were dropped off between December 18 and 20. HOL representative Ralph Pulfer says about half the deliveries went to seniors this year. Individuals, couples and a young family were also provided wood. Â Â
