Barb Tobin has been appointed the new Operations Manager for the Kemptville Youth Centre (KYC). Tobin, former deputy mayor and longtime councillor in North Grenville, is set to take the reins on January 2.
The KYC Board of Directors say she brings extensive knowledge and experience to the role. Tobin was a teacher at North Grenville District High School for years and volunteers with community organizations, such as the Beth Donovan Hospice.
The Operations Manager is responsible for working with local schools to advocate for youth in the community. The KYC serves over 400 youth each year. People are invited to drop by the centre at 5 Oxford Street to learn more about programs offered.
