RBC collecting food, gifts for local charities

The Fill-a-Bag campaign will get a boost from RBC in Kemptville. The bank is running a food drive in support of the Salvation Army Food Bank. It wraps up on December 23.

Organizer Miranda Martin says the bank is always looking for ways to support the community.

RBC is also setting up a Giving Tree this week in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Martin says the tree will have tags with the gender and age of local kids in need. She says clients and non-clients can drop by to grab a tag and buy an age appropriate gift.

The presents need to be brought back to the bank before December 12.
