The North Grenville Fire Service is closely monitoring open-air burn conditions. The heat wave has persisted for about a week now, with temperatures reaching mid-30’s most days. Fire Chief John Okum says a burn ban may be necessary.
The burn hazard level was elevated to high yesterday. Okum says people need to be mindful when burning.
