A Support Group for the Parents of Children With Mental Health Issues Starts Tomorrow

Parents and caregivers raising children with mental health or addiction issues have a new place to turn.

Starting tomorrow a new support group will be running in Kemptville on the 2nd Tuesday of every month. Parents and guardians dealing with children, under 24 years of age, that have mental health and addiction issues will be given the opportunity to share and exchange strategies, while supporting one another through tough times.

The Kemptville District Hospital and Children’s Mental Health of Leeds & Grenville is partnering with Parents’ Lifelines of Eastern Ontario to put on the confidential event. No registration is required and meetings will be held at the hospital from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.
