A recent blitz the OPP has led to charges against commercial motor vehicle drivers.
Grenville County OPP Constable Suzanne Runciman says officers conducted safety initiatives along the 401 & 416 which targeted mechanical safety and unsafe driving. Officers were strategically positions along both highways on February 15th and Runciman says several commercial vehicles were stopped and and numerous charges were laid under the Highway Traffic Act.
More targeted safety initiatives are scheduled to take place throughout 2018.
