Women interested in working in the hospitality sector may want to attend an upcoming seminar in Prescott.
The Employment + Education Centre’s Women in Trades initiative will be hosting an information session on September 12th where interested ladies can learn more about the program. Program participants must be females between the ages of 15-30 that live in the area. The first in-class session starts in October and will focus on the hospitality sector, which includes jobs like cook, baker or butcher. The sessions that follows will focus on different trade sectors, like construction, welding, electrical and plumbing.
