The Municipality of North Grenville might be hiring.
The municipality says it may soon be adding the position of Financial Asset Management Coordinator, pending council’s approval at next week’s meeting.
The municipality says Director of Finance Nicole Zywicki has led the charge on asset management with other senior managers over the past year. The municipality says the amount of work needed means it requires additional resources to continue the integration of asset management into daily operations.
The municipality says that asset management is a key to long-term planning, and provides guidance as staff makes decisions and establishes long-term goals, including financial sustainability.
The position would be permanent and full-time in nature. The successful candidate would report to the Director of Finance.
A salary range hasn’t been determined for the potential position. The salary would have to be budgeted for in 2018, but for the remainder of 2017 the money would come from budget surpluses in various departments’ wages and benefits budget.
