Work continues on River Road.
The Municipality of North Grenville continues to upgrade the road from Colonel Drive to Muldoon Road.
The upgrade includes new pavement with paved shoulders. The municipality says the paved shoulders will help promote active transportation uses.
Depending on the weather, the municipality says there’s another two weeks of work left to finish the project.
The 2017 capital budget included $300,000 for the rehabilitation and improvement to River Road.
While the work doesn’t stop the traffic flow completely, the road will be reduced to one lane at times to allow for the rehabilitation.
