Students of St. Michael Catholic High School and Holy Cross Catholic School have a new voice on the board of trustees.
The Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario says Andrew D’Alessio, a grade 12 student at St. Joseph’s Catholic Secondary School in Cornwall has been installed as the next Catholic Student Trustee.
CDSBEO Director of Education William Gartland says the position is important as the trustee represents the voice of students.
Gartland says that students can reach out to their trustee on issues through their student council.
D’Alessio takes over the role from Alexa Meeson.
