The Kemptville 73’s organization could use a few more billet homes.
73’s General Manager Terry Nichols says that a few families that have normally taken in billets over the past few years, can’t do it anymore. That means the organization is on the search for new families.
Nichols says the family does receive a monthly payment to cover costs and free season tickets to all 73’s home games.
Nichols says that the player becomes part of the family and is expected to help out just like other children would around the house.
The 73’s have had more than 10 players in a single season needing a place to stay in the past. Nichols says that they need about three more families.
