Leeds County OPP is continuing its investigation into a fatal crash.
According to the OPP at around 11:00pm on July 21st officers were called to a motor vehicle collision on Highway 401 near Mallorytown. The investigation determined a westbound car left the highway, crossed the median and collided with an eastbound tractor-trailer.
The OPP says the 85-year-old driver of the car died at the scene. Traffic was closed both directions so police could investigate.
The OPP says officers continue to look into the fatal collision.
