The Grenville County OPP has charged a Prescott local with fraud.
The OPP say on July 18th they arrested an employee of the privately operated Service Ontario located on King Street in Prescott. The investigation involved the Grenville County Crime Unit working cooperatively with the Ministry of Transportation, Ministry of Government and Consumer Services and the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change.
The accused has been charged with eight counts of fraud under $5,000, two counts of breaching probation and possession of crystal meth. They were released on an Officer in Charge Undertaking and will be in the Ontario Court of Justice near the end of August.
