Seven Memorial Trees have been planted at the Veterans Way Memorial Park.
The trees were planted as a Canada 150 Military Tribute to the Canadian Armed Forces.
A formal dedication was held on Saturday, June 24th. Veterans Way Memorial Committee Chairman John Wilson was joined by fellow members Doug Brunton and Roy Brown for the ceremony. Also participating in the event were Mayor David Gordon, Councillor Donovan Arnaud and Ferguson Forest Centre Corporation President Carl Doucette.
Veterans Way is located at the western gateway to the Ferguson Forest Centre on County Road 44.
