The Kemptville Drifters Fishing Derby is back for its 20th year.
The annual live release event takes place at Curry Park on Saturday starting at 6:00am. Participants can register until 10:00am and weigh in is available until 3:00pm.
The first place winner will receive a $500 cash prize for biggest bass. There are also other prizes including a prize for kids 15 and under.
Organizers say that any funds leftover from the event are always turned over to the Kemptville Legion.
