The North Dundas Rockets have received a financial boost from the Winchester Lions Club.
Members of the Rockets were on hand Wednesday night at a meeting at the club’s hall to receive the cheque from Winchester Lions Club President Hugh Bouchard.
One member of the Lions Club explained that the organization likes to support local causes. Members made a $3,300 donation to the hockey organization.
