You may encounter more signage and information in the near future if you’re walking the trails in the Ferguson Forest Centre.
North Grenville Director of Parks, Recreation and Culture Mark Guy told members of council at the committee of the whole meeting on Monday that the municipality was successful in applying for a grant. That grant for more than $54,000 was received through the Ontario Sport and Recreation Communities Fund.
Guy says the money is earmarked to help push public awareness and education for the trails system in North Grenville. One of the focuses is an increase in signage and information in the Ferguson Forest Centre.
