The House of Lazarus’ Every Plate Full campaign is now over $3,000 thanks in part to the second annual walk-a-thon.
The walk-a-thon was held at the Mountain Family Fun Market Day on Saturday at Mountain Memorial Park.
The Every Plate Full campaign through Food Banks Canada was helped by pledges from participants in the fundraiser during the event.
People who attended the market day also donated food items and money to help with the outreach programming.
More than 100 families in the area access the House of Lazarus food bank every month.
