Boaters will still be unable to use most of the locks on the Rideau Canal.
Parks Canada has announced that the only ones open to boaters today are are Chaffeys Lock and Newboro Lock.
Parks Canada says that’s mainly to protect boater safety and help prevent further shoreline erosion and property damage because of high water.
