The Municipality of North Grenville is looking into whether or not the facade and cenotaph at the old North Grenville District High School should receive a heritage designation.
The issue was originally brought up during a Heritage Advisory Committee meeting. The committee voted to recommend that council look at the possibility of the heritage designation.
That would protect the front facade and cenotaph from future changes or demolition if the designations were to eventually get the green light.
Council will have a chance to vote to move ahead with the notice on Monday.
