Some local roads are set to be repaved.
North Grenville Council has approved the roadwork in its 2017 budget. Director of Public Works Karen Dunlop says some of the roads getting resurfaced are River Road, Craig Road and Pioneer Drive.
The lowest bid for the work is 630-thousand dollars. Leftover dollars in the budget will be used to cover things like ditch work, gravel and traffic control.
Council is expected to make a final decision on Monday.
