Cuddle Corner a hit at Dundas Manor

A cuddle can be just what the doctor ordered.

That’s the idea behind Cuddle Corner at Dundas Manor in Winchester.

The program began when volunteer Nanda Wubbs and her young daughters brought in dolls to share with residents. Activity Programs and Services Director Jennifer Hill says they could see the connection residents made right away.

The program has grown and now even includes life-like cats.

Hill says families have witnessed the benefits and comfort that the program brings some residents.

Officials say that Cuddle Corner has become a big hit.
