The Pte. Blake Williamson Memorial Hall restoration work is progressing.
Director of Parks and Recreation Mark Guy says that quite a bit of interior work has already been completed. Guy says they’re on target to have the hall ready for the Canada Day celebrations on July 1st.
The restoration project has a total cost of over $320,000. Part of that is covered by a grant and a contribution by the Navy League of Canada, although taxpayers are on the hook for more than half of the final costs.
