Changes coming to Ontario Early Years Centre

Changes are coming in Ontario to the ministry-funded child and family programs such as the Ontario Early Years Centre.

The Ministry of Education is taking four different programs across the province and consolidating them into one, the Ontario Early Years Child and Family Centres.

Since the only program available in the county is the Ontario Early Years Centre program, there may not be a big structural change to how the new program is delivered. However, Manager of Integrated Program Delivery Kim Little at the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville says they’re taking this opportunity to listen to parents through a survey, to see if tweaks can be brought to the new program.

The survey is available until March 24th online. You can win one of three $100 gift cards if you participate. We have a link here.
