The OPP, together with a number of other agencies, has charged 18 people with 81 offences during Project Silkstone.
The high-level investigation was carried out along the 401 corridor between Toronto and Montreal, to target illegal drugs weapons trafficking.
OPP Detective Mark Loader says the highway provides an easy route for criminals.
Project collected 23 firearms as well as large quantities of cash and drugs.
