Municipality hopes to hear from residents on new play structure accessibility at South Gower Park

South Gower Park is slated to get a new accessible play structure later this year.

Because the plan is to make the park accessible to residents with disabilities, the municipality is required to consult with the public on the design.

The Municipality of North Grenville has launched a survey that looks at the barriers that prevent both parents and children from participating in inclusive play, as well as how much of the new equipment should be made accessible. Councillor Frank Onasanya says it’s important to get a feel for what’s needed by residents in the new park design.

You can get a paper copy of the survey at the municipal office or library. You can also fill out the survey online here. Surveys must be returned by March 17th.
