The work is underway when it comes to what next season’s Kemptville 73’s hockey team will look like.
The team is holding its spring evaluation camp at the North Grenville Municipal Centre this weekend with over 60 players taking part and hoping to show that they have what it takes to be a part of the hockey club.
Among those who will be on the ice are the twelve players the team selected at the 2026 Central Canada Hockey League draft.
Kemptville 73’s Head Coach Shawn Fensel tells Moose FM that players can make themselves noticed at the camp.
“It’s an opportunity that a lot of guys in the past have taken advantage of and earned that spot on our roster.”
Fensel adds that the camp’s on ice sessions are open to the public to come watch.
You can find a full schedule on the team’s website.
