73’s Wrap: Kemptville picks up three points during second weekend of the regular season

The Kemptville 73’s are off to a strong start to the 2026-2027 regular season in the Central Canada Hockey League.

Kemptville collected three out of a possible four points over the weekend, including a point earned in an overtime loss in Ottawa on Saturday night.

The 73’s fired 32 shots at the Ottawa Junior Senator’s net but all of them were stopped by John Reburn.

On Friday night, Kemptville defeated Navan 4-2 at the North Grenville Municipal Centre.

Darius Nichols, Zachary Venance, Morgan Henderson and Isaac Arsenault, with his first goal in the CCHL, scored while Cesare Della Santina stopped 16 shots to secure the victory.

The 73’s are currently third in the CCHL with seven points earned in four games.

It’s a busy three game week for Kemptville starting Wednesday night in Carleton Place and then at the CCHL Showcase in Nepean this weekend where they face the Raiders and the Hawkesbury Hawks.
