It’s one of the most important times of the year for municipalities across Ontario.
The annual Ontario Rural Leader’s Conference starts Sunday in Toronto with members of municipal council’s gathering to meet with provincial leaders to hear about and discuss a wide variety of topics.
Some of them include rural affairs, finance, health, long-term care and seniors and accessibility.
Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing Rob Flack will also address those in attendance on the first day of the conference which runs until Tuesday.
The Rural Ontario Municipal Association (ROMA) is the rural voice of the Association of Municipalities of Ontario.
