MPP Clark says big projects were moved forward at AMO

Leeds-Grenville-Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes MPP Steve Clark says he attended sixteen meetings in two days at the Association of Municipalities of Ontario Conference.

Clark says there was lots of stuff on the table at the get togethers for his riding and adds they were able get forward some very big priority projects from areas including North Grenville and Edwardsburgh Cardinal.

In addition to the conference, Clark says he was able to bring a number of different ministers to the riding including Associate Minister of Small Business Nina Tangri.

Clark tells Moose FM that having his provincial counterparts see our region up close is vital.

“I can write a good letter, I can stand at a minister’s desk and say you need to come to my riding to see this but when they’re here the best ambassadors to tell the story are the local people.”

Clark adds you’ll continue to see and hear from him in the area leading up to the fall sitting of the Legislature in October.
