Leeds and Grenville Labour Council holding free event to mark Labour Day

You’re being invited to mark Labour Day with the Leeds and Grenville Labour Council.

The group is holding a free event on Aug. 30 at the Brockville Arts Centre featuring two movies that were a part of the Canadian Labour International Film Festival.

They say each film highlights real worker stories and important workplace issues happening right here in Ontario and across Canada.

You can learn more and reserve your tickets starting August 23 at 10 a.m. via the Brockville Arts Centre website or you can just come on the day.

The event is open to all members of the community.

Labour Day is Monday, Sept. 1.
