A warm forecast for the coming days has led to some restrictions from the North Grenville Fire Service.
A burn ban has been issued for the entire Municipality of North Grenville.
The ban has been issued because dead grass in the region and temperatures in the 20s for the next few days present a high risk for grass fires.
No fires of any kind are allowed while the ban is in effect, and smokers are also being urged not to throw cigarette butts out the window while driving.
Staff members say conditions are being monitored every day, and the ban will be lifted once it’s safe to do so.
