Businesses and organizations are being invited to try a new bicycling experience while supporting kids in the Leeds-Grenville area.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Leeds and Grenville has announced a “MEGABike” fundraising event coming to Brockville on May 31st.
Participants will be able to book one-hour rides on a 29-person bicycle. They’ll then ride a 2.5-kilometre route around downtown Brockville and Hardy Park.
In order to take part, you’ll need to make a donation to the organization to reserve the bike for an hour.
Companies can reserve the entire 29-seat bike for $2,500, or half the bike for $1,000. Individual people can also reserve a single seat for $150 each.
All the registration money is going towards supporting the charity’s programming.
