Two North Grenville parks closing for upgrades this month

Oxford Mills and Oxford Station residents will see some upgrades at their local parks over the coming weeks.

The Municipality of North Grenville has announced that Crozier Park in Oxford Mills, as well as Oxford Station Park, will be closing later this April.

The closures are happening so workers can install new play structures in both locations.

The money for the projects came from a ParticipACTION grant awarded to North Grenville for being named “Canada’s Most Active Community” in 2021.

The current play structure at Crozier Park is being removed from April 11th to 14th. Oxford Station Park’s current play structure will be removed from April 17th to 20th.

Staff members say the new play structures will be installed in early May, and the parks will fully reopen after they’re approved by inspectors.
